HELMUT KEHLER Peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2000, Helmut Kehler passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at age 51, with his family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maureen and children, Shawn, Caprice and Tyson; three brothers and five sisters. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Justina Kehler and two brothers in Paraguay, South America. Helmut was a devoted elevator mechanic and will be remembered for his love of fishing, camping and pig roasts. Service in his memory will be held on Thursday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Dr., with Rev. Ed Mitchler officiating. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kirk and staff at the Palliative Care Unit and also Fr. Girard for his prayers and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel; 338-0331.
